Practical 2: Does it take a Crisis?

Does it take a crisis to enter into God’s Economy? While it is understandable that most people would prefer incremental steps, sometimes responding to the Lord’s invitation: ‘Will you follow me?’ requires a radical response. We examine what it means to follow Jesus as it relates to the issue of dependency on money / love of money. The way to enter into God’s Economy is saying ‘Yes’ to an invitation from the Lord.

Inflation Prep – Part 1
Physical Prep – Part 2

We continue our discussion of inflation impact and preparation. Firstly spiritual preparation, then also natural preparation in heavenly wisdom. We also zoom back out and take a look at the macro geo-political picture again to understand the impact of foreign currency exchange, global trade, and supply lines which affect everything from cars to food.

Israel: The World’s Prophetic Clock

Israel adds Chinese Yuan to Foreign Reserves Cutting US Dollars

Article on Israel’s ties to Russia and Ukraine, and choosing its own direction different from USA

Recall what Chuck Pierce talked about in Passover Prophecies that we needed to align with Israel to maintain global trade. This seems to be key.

Note that Israel is moving closer to Russia and China. This is different from its historically close ally, The United States. Israel may see some of the “writing on the wall” with respect to the US losing its favored position of the world’s reserve currency and sole military superpower.

Russia, Russia

Since Russia invaded the Ukraine, the Western coalition of nations sanctioning Russia for its unprovoked actions touted the decline in the Ruble as evidence that sanctions were working. However, since then Russian has played its commodities card, which is to say that it is willing to back the Ruble with gold, and since their oil must be settled in Rubles now, their oil as well. So its now become a preview of a coming economic and currency “arms race” of commodity based/backed currencies vs. fiat currencies. The trouble with the US and the Euro, etc. is the level of the Western nation’s indebtedness cuts against the USD based world reserve currency status. So USD has gone up against other pure Western fiat currencies, such as the Euro, Pound Sterling, and the Yen, but has gone down against the Ruble. And the Chinese yuan was about the same as before, but with the recent Chinese CV19 lockdowns, it has declined slightly against the Dollar.

Death of Fiat Currencies and the rise of Commodity Currencies

The Storehouse – A Natural Inflation Hedge

Its important to understand that the Storehouse vision addresses the issue of inflation (even hyper inflation) and hedges against it using the concept of local currencies, backed by physical tangible goods, but importantly – the value of people working together in community – the power of unity of resources and workforce. When this is coupled with two factors/tools: Reshoring and Insourcing goods and services, as well as creative sourcing of goods and services across Storehouse networked communities, you have a functioning economy that can thrive in the face of these and other global economic troubles, famine, and scarcity. One Storehouse “Nation” Under God, if you will.

Breakaway Bridges of the Storehouse Vision

From Charles Spurgeon’s “Faith’s Checkbook”

April 23 – Final day of Passover 2022

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; he that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

Revelation 2:11

The first death we must endure unless the Lord should suddenly come to His temple. For this let us abide in readiness, awaiting it without fear, since Jesus has transformed death from a dreary cavern into a passage leading to glory.

The thing to be feared is not the first but the second death, not the parting of the soul from the body but the final separation of the entire man from God. This is death indeed. This death kills all peace, joy, happiness, hope. When God is gone, all is gone. Such a death is far worse than ceasing to be: it is existence without the life which makes existence worth the having.

Now, if by God’s grace we fight on to the end and conquer in the glorious war, no second death can lay its chill finger upon us, We shall have no fear of death and hell, for we shall receive a crown of life which fadeth not away. How this nerves us for the fight! Eternal life is worth a life’s battle. To escape the hurt of the second death is a thing worth struggling for throughout a lifetime.

Lord, give us faith so that we may overcome, and then grant us grace to remain unharmed though sin and Satan dog our heels!

Inflation Prep – Part II

Last week we focused mainly on spiritual preparation as the necessary foundation:

You many never know that Jesus is all you need, until Jesus is all you have

Corrie ten Boom

Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God

Deuteronomy 8:1

If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us … But even if He does not, we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up

Daniel 3:17-18

There is no getting around these and other spiritual truths. No more than there is no effective strategy in the Lord in the absence of prayer. And sometimes that’s not only all we need, it is exactly what we need.

Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today

Exodus 14:13

Taking Action – Building and Warring

But do we stop at prayer? Of course not. We listen and obey and move out into whatever the Father is doing. Let’s listen to how David inquired of the Lord, heard the word and stepped out into battle, but in an unusual way:

Once more the Philistines came up and spread out in the Valley of Rephaim; so David inquired of the Lord, and he answered, “Do not go straight up, but circle around behind them and attack them in front of the poplar trees. As soon as you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the poplar trees, move quickly, because that will mean the Lord has gone out in front of you to strike the Philistine army.” So David did as the Lord commanded him, and he struck down the Philistines all the way from Gibeon to Gezer

2 Samuel 5:22-25

We don’t prepare out of fear, we prepare out of listening and obeying by FAITH

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of the Lord

Romans 10:17

Faith without deeds is dead

James 2:17

  • Joseph built Storehouses and collected grain throughout Egypt for seven years, then masterfully administered their release over the next 7 years.

Seventh Day of Passover: Our Commitment

Didn’t we say to you in Egypt, ‘Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians?’ It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!

Exodus 21:12

(Today is the seventh and final day of Passover, 22 Nissan when the nation of Israel passed through the Red Sea on dry land in their Exodus from being slaves in Egypt. Read No Fear of Death as a compliment to this article)

Even for a people of faith, the long wait for redemption can be hard. This week, Holocaust Remembrance Day marks the most chilling example of that, yet, amidst the darkness there are humbling stories of courage and idealism. How did people cling to that faith? On the seventh day of Passover, we rightly celebrate the miraculous crossing of the Red Sea, but at the time, it was unclear that the Jews were ripe for redemption or that the Jewish nation would survive.

As the Jewish people saw the Egyptians chasing after them and the sea spread out in front of them, their future felt bleak. Their first instinct may have been, as the Ramban (Nahmanides) suggests, to pray for an Egyptian retreat, but when that did not materialize, feelings of hopelessness spread.

“It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!” they screamed at Moses.

Their fears were well founded; they faced a formidable enemy, but legitimate nerves shouldn’t dissolve into desolation and despair. The complete collapse of confidence that led Jews to advocate a return to Egyptian slavery almost spelled an end to our history.

According to some, even Moses’s prayers reflect the despondency. The Seforno explains that while our leader remained steadfast in his faith that God could rescue the people, he was far less confident that the Israelites would not pack up their bags and return to slavery in Egypt.

Later in the Torah, we read about individual slaves who choose a lifetime of slavery over freedom. The Torah does not rule out this option, but it is withering in its critique of those who give up on life’s opportunities and the Jewish people’s mission.

Becoming a slave for life is marked by a ceremony in which the slave is taken to a doorpost where his ear is pierced. Our rabbis explain that a Jew whose ears heard God declare that we are his people should never trade the chance of freedom for a lifetime of enslavement; hence the ritual of piercing the ear.

The doorposts where we placed lamb’s blood on the eve of our Exodus to freedom testify to the independent life we are expected to lead, which is why that is the venue for the slave’s ceremony. Tosafot adds that the hole is made with an awl, whose Hebrew spelling has a numerical value of 400 – the number of years we were condemned to slavery in Egypt (Kiddushin 22b).

To surrender the opportunity to play a role in Jewish history by turning oneself into an eternal slave is a denial of everything we hold sacred. As an embryonic nation, such panic was forgivable. God accepts it quietly, inviting the people to sit back and witness their own salvation. For Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch this moment forged our identity; developing faith and dignity for future generations who might not be privy to spectacular miracles.

This was most powerfully illustrated by Jews who clung to their faith through the darkest and most challenging days of the Holocaust. Here are three examples.

I am writing this column in the National Library of Israel. Sitting a few seats away from me with his head immersed in a volume of Talmud is Prof. David Weiss Halivni. As one of 2,000 prisoners held at the Wolfsberg concentration camp, he was put to slave labor in a squad that dynamited, chiseled and hauled rocks.

Their Nazi guard ate his greasy sandwich from a crumpled bit of paper, which the teenage scholar instantly recognized as a page ripped from a Shulhan Aruch. Desperate for spiritual study material, he plucked up the courage to prize the page from the guard. Every week, Jewish inmates gathered to study the laws of Passover from that folio cementing their connection with Jewish history and tradition.

Amon Goeth, commandant of Plaszow labor camp, was renowned for his brutality. It was said that he never sat down to breakfast without first shooting at least one Jew, while his dogs, Rolf and Ralf, were trained to savage the other inmates. Still, the Jewish slaves in his brush factory maintained their faith and sense of purpose with a secret daily Talmud class. When their studies were over, they rushed to complete their weekly work quota, to avoid laboring on Shabbat.

Meanwhile, when the destruction of the Warsaw Ghetto and the murder of its remaining inhabitants seemed inevitable, young Jews from the Jewish youth movements determined that they would not surrender.

Nor would they be anyone’s slaves. They would courageously fight the Germans; dying with dignity as Jews. Ghetto chronicler Emmanuel Ringelblum records the spirit.

“‘Our fate is sealed,’ people were saying. Every Jew carries a death sentence in his pocket, handed him by the greatest murderers of all time. So we must think not so much of saving our lives, which seems to be a very problematic affair, but of dying an honorable death, dying with weapons in our hands.”

Even in the most desperate times, Jewish dignity was to be upheld as best it could.

It is hard to know how any of us would have responded to these challenges. Fortunately, we don’t have to.

Today, we are blessed with a secure, democratic, Jewish state. That’s why it is particularly distressing to read reports of Jews who abandon Jewish tradition, drop their Jewish identity and give up on the State of Israel.

On the seventh day of Passover, as we cross the Red Sea, with its attendant difficulties, we reaffirm our commitment that however desperate the situation, we do not surrender our ideals – a message inspired and reinforced by the example of those who clung on to their faith through the horrors of the Holocaust and battles for the establishment of Israel.

Chris Reed and Chuck Pierce Discussion

If you can take 15 minutes to watch this video clip (starting 18min:28sec – 38 min), we will use it as a basis for part of our discussion.

Here are some key points of their discussion:

  • Chuck affirms what Christ saw in the dream and agrees with the interpretation
  • Says that God showed him up to 23 aligned states (with heaven – sheep states)
  • 20+ states had a policy supporting Israel – which will be key
  • He also connects his dream to Chris’ dream re a new “cell phone” digital currency (we touched on that last week)
  • Cindy asks Chuck – can Chris’ dream (and war) be averted through 2 Chronicles 7:14 prayer?
  • Chuck, Chris and Rick Joyner believe these things are inevitable and necessary (rise of China, decline of America, inflation, civil war / secession of states from Fed govt) in order to see the revival we seek
  • Chuck said a great threshing will happening over the next 10 Passover seasons, and to watch 3 years ahead for another great threshing (2025)
  • Chuck has been telling everyone to get out of debt
  • 13 colonies more relevant to God’s plan for America than Washington DC
  • Chuck was shown a capitol of something in San Antonio, TX
  • Chuck noted the Ruble move to back by gold. He said that God showed him that payments backed by US Dollars and Euros will no longer be accepted in the days ahead

The Law of Use and Multiplication

In the days ahead we will “do exploits” (Daniel 11:32). How? Through the power of God deploying the :

  • Law of Use
  • Law of Multiplication

“The jar of flour will not be used up”

“The jug of oil will not run dry”

Elisha and the Widow’s Oil

2 Kings 4:1-7

Spiritual Prep

Greatest preparation is spiritual – to discover and strengthen our faith:

If our focus is only or primarily on physical prep, we will fail. Why? Because the point of God’s judgement is remedial, to humble us from trusting in idols or having other gods before Him, and return to dependency on Him.

Rev 6:6 In a time of famine and scarcity (inflation) the angels are commanded “preserve the oil and the wine

What is the oil and the wine? Is it a stockpiling of crude oil and cabernet? No.

Matt 25:9 “…go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves

Regarding wine – it is the blood of Christ in the Eucharist

The blood that washes us clean, cleansing our sin.

But how can we be washed clean if we remain in sin? And if we remain in sin, will we be preserved with the wine?

Repentance is KEY to preparation

Come out of her my people, lest you be party to her sin and subject to her plagues” Rev 18:4

Oil -> the wise virgin’s oil of anointing only gathered in God’s presence

Gold tried in the fire vs. stockpiles of gold.

Rev 3:18 “I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.

Can gold save us or only God? Is this by design? If God wants to judge us for Golden Calves, do you think he can find us even if we have a horde of gold? Read Judges 7:5 about the sin of Achan.

Now, is there a place for physical prep? Absolutely. This is the Story of Joseph and Pharaoh. But before Joseph was ready, he had to “go through hell” of spiritual preparation. For 13 years. How long was it before Paul started his ministry? 14 years. How long did Moses dwell in the wilderness as a shepherd? 40 years. There are no shortcuts. There is no cheap price on buying “oil” or “gold”.

Physical/Natural Prep

Alternative Business Practices and Financial Systems

Like with Joseph, there is a time and season of physical preparation. It always must be built upon a foundation of spiritual preparation and prayer – seeking Yah. One goes hand in hand with the other.

We are entering into that now with the Storehouse Vision

Roundtable Discussion – Chris Reed’s $50 Dream

(Inflation Prophecies – Part 2)

Chris Reed (who is succeeding Rick Joyner) at Morningstar Ministries had a vivid dream up in Moravian Falls on March 25, 2022.

Interpretative Keys

  • $50 bill – Ulysses S. Grant; “Reconstruction” of America post the civil war and the next generation, “restoring” after the next American civil war / revolutionary war
  • 50 states in the union
  • 50 is Jubilee in the bible (slaves freed, lands returned), but in a judgment context it has the opposite meaning (Jonathan Cahn calls it the dark jubilee for instance)
  • 1/3 tear is like the dollar will be worth a third what it was. 30% inflation headline
  • 1/2 tear is like the dollar will be worth half again of what it was. Earthquake under my feet. Bob Jones prophesied a West Coast Quake tied to an economic quake (1. 1989 San Fran, 2. 2011 Japan, 3. ???? West Coast).
  • Israel / Palestine 2 State Solution. God will divide the land of whoever divides Israel’s land. Many have prophesied the San Madras fault earthquake along the Mississippi river. JPJ. Shane Warn. Others. Kushner’s peace plan also divided Israel.
  • Torn into little pieces. Division in USA. Further weakening / inflation of the Dollar. JPJ hyperinflation.
  • Man in black suit = Black horse = scarcity, famine, lack in the bible. The man in the black suit is like one of the 4 horseman riding the black horse Rev 6
  • “A quart of wheat for a days wage” Rev 6:6 is high inflation
  • Preserve the oil (anointing – 5 wise virgins) and the wine (Jesus’ blood). Goshen cities of refuge. Shane Warren saw similar
  • “Give us our entitlements” – Shane Warren heard same thing
  • Middle East oil deal with China and Russia – Shane Warren heard similar things. Like we have been discussing in Currency Wars
  • States seceding from the union – JP Jackson had a similar dream of the flags 50 stars in 3 dimensions (cylindrical), where some of the stars started to disappear by going lower (receding like seceding)
  • Wheat and bread shortage headline – Ukraine’s main crop is Wheat. They grow over 25% of the world’s wheat (and therefore bread). KC being a breadbasket for wheat like mid east oil
  • US citizens growing their own food. Yes, JPJ also saw this where they ripped up some city streets to grow veggies. Armed guards for food trucks. Revelation flying over CA glasshouses / self-sustained micro ecology environments.
  • New dollar was a cell phone. Digital Dollar. This reminds me of Chuck Pierce’s dream of shipping and ports where he had to use a cell phone like device to use a secret currency backed by gold somehow. Inflation gets so bad that the US will issue a new Dollar. JPJ prophesied this.
A prophetic sign from 2009?
  • “A new dollar for a renewed America”. Like Grant’s reconstruction after the civil war. Renewal = Reconstruction. “American R

What is the solution? The Storehouse Vision of biblical economy is key to understand in this hour.

  • When do we do it? Start now, while “it is still day” John 9:4.
  • Where do we do it? From city to city, where we have come together as one, even as Christ and the Father are one. John 17:21
  • How do we do it? Rediscovering the scriptures about work, money and banking – being doers not just hearers of the word. James 1:22
  • How do we implement it? Through the 5-fold leadership gifts. Eph 4:11
  • How do we govern it? The elders of the citywide Church. Acts 14:23

Jonathan Gill Interview from Pakistan

Jonathan is an evangelist from Faisalabad, Pakistan.

Quick tour around Jonathan’s neighborhood:..

Pakistan is a majority Muslem nation, so much of his activity focuses on sharing the gospel with people from Muslem backgrounds. Muslims also very much control the government, business, schools, etc., so working as a Christian in their culture is working from the position of being “less than” as well as facing persecution.

His father in-law is the Pastor of a local church: Emmaus Evangelical Church. He and his family live on the “other side” of town where many of Christians live.

Jonathan with a local carpenter

Jonathan and his family are engaged as part of his church and ministry activity in helping poor people create businesses to help sustain their families. We have been talking about creating a Storehouse in his city and other entrepreneurial ideas. For example, his brother works for a large clothing manufacturing company, as the city is known for its export of tee-shirts and other clothing.

Jonathan’s family helps a widow and her kids:

Roxanna a believing poor mother and her children

This is all part of the discussion of reform God is looking for, such that ministries in 3rd world countries do not become dependent on US donor dollars, but instead become locally sustained. (Read the Non-Profit Ministry Bulletin white paper for details.) How? Through working toward the Storehouse vision and other New Breed of Business scriptural business practices, Christian groups anywhere can adopt these means of pooling together resources, discipling the poor and the needy into starting businesses, seeing God provide the increase, and many more becoming the lender instead of the borrower.

We can help foster John 17 unity through a New Breed of Community and economic development. Serving others. Loving others like Jesus.

I have come to give life, and life more abundantly

John 10:10
