Storehouse Roles

Discussion – Storehouse “Traders”, “Bankers”, “Investors”

Jesus overturns the money changers tables at the temple

Tomorrow, we discuss various biblical roles of the “Storehouse” using the principle of scripture interprets scripture. For more on the Storehouse Vision and Network visit the website: newbreed.co.

This will serve as Part 14 in the How to Storehouse teaching series on the website.“Do business until I come”

 – Luke 19:13

We explore the parable of the talents (Matthew 25) and the minas (Luke 19):

  • What it reveals?
  • How to understand the parable and its symbolism?
  • Training for reigning
  • Future authority of believers together with Christ
  • Hint: it’s not about money per se (unrighteous mammon)…

What is Jesus referring to when he says: “Why then did you not put my money in the bank, that at my coming I might have collected it with interest?”

 – Luke 19:23

  • Who or what is “the bank” in this case?
  • What does “interest” represent?
  • What kind of business does the faithful servant conduct?
  • Trading?

And I say to you, make friends for yourselves by unrighteous mammon, that when you fail, they may receive you into an everlasting home. He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?  And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?

– Luke 16:9-12

No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.

Matthew 6:24

Let’s get into it tomorrow! Hope you can join. Feel free to invite others.
